Hello Cindy:-
Nova Scotians are friendly and welcome anyone to his
or her family line.
I notice ZWICKER among the names -- I am list admin of this
list and would welcome any queries as I found it is lined with
the Rhodenizer (however spelled) family line.
I will check and see if I have more than one connection.

Subject: [LL] Vienot Genealogy
new to list
I have a line of Viento/Vento/Veinot/Veino that traveled to Vermont, USA.
I have seen many variations of the spelling and it is complicating my
search.
My Grandparents tried to research the family in Nova Scotia and
France.
I believe there was a formal letter confirming my Grandmother's line back
to
Royalty in France,
but unfortunately that letter was stolen from my Mother's home a few years
ago.
My Grandparents created a large collection of family genealogy,
but my Grandmother's line is not in the book!
The tree I have a copy of shows:
Leopold Vienot
Christopher Tanner Vienot and
Catherine Robert
George Venot and Margaret
Jodrey
Samuel Veinot and Lavinia Deal
James Freeman Veino and Emily Spencer
Euthecia Ruth Veino and Elbridge Alvah
Goodhue
I am transcribing them as they are spelled on the tree.
I have no source information with this tree.
I have recently discover a GedCom on-line that has John "Samuel" Veinot
married to Lavinia Teal not Deal.
I do not know how to proceed with research in Nova Scotia.
I live in Oregon, USA.
I would appreciate any assistance.
Thank you for your time,
Cindy
