Not sure where this fits in but I was born Zwicker in 1945 - my fathers
original family name. He had to leave Austria at the start of WW2.
Any interest in this line?

Hi Judy,
Nice to hear from you. I have also heard the following from a David P.
Zwicker in Canada
"Dr. Francis Gordon Zwicker is in our book. We also have him born 13 Oct
1875 at Mahone Bay, NS. The Zwicker family emigrated from Germany to
Nova Scotia in 1752. We have Florence Elizabeth as Francis' only
sibling. Their parents were Azariah Zwicker and Hanna Imlay. Gordon
married Mary Cottrell Mahon. Edith Cottrell Zwicker and John Gordon
Zwicker were their two children. We were not able to trace the
descendants of these children. They may have moved to the USA as many
others did."
The Bible came from a disused house in Cheshire, CT. The house was owned
by a Mr Keeler up to 1930's -1940's when it was sold. The bible was
found in the attic with other old papers belonging to Mr Keeler. I
bought it recently on e-bay as I am interested in the Bible's original
publisher who had a shop in London in the 1660s.
If any of this links with your Zwicker family history I would be very
interested.
Best wishes for Christmas from Lancashire, England

Dear David,
We are looking in our Zwicker family book to see if Francis is listed.
We'll
get back to you if we find anything.
