Dear rootsweb readers and cousins all,
I have a flurry of Zooks and a slew of Yoders in my late father's
lineage. They are well-documented thanks to Harry Zook's book,
the amazing "Amish and Amish Mennonite Genealogies" by Hugh Gingerich
and Rachel Kreider...

Thank you for whatever insight into the Zugs this correspondence may
produce, however I am most anxious to learn more about Lantzes so that
presently-hanging threads in my family research can be joined together.
If you, the reader, have no Lantzes in your tree but have encountered
helpful Amish-Mennonite resources, electronic or paper, I am happy for
the references. (I am already familiar with the Yoder Newsletter and
website as well as the Omni information; also have a book by Raymond
Lantz which, while interesting, led off in directions in his family
which were not also in mine.) Thank you.
You might look into these:
_Pennsylvania Mennonite Heritage_, published quarterly by
Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society
2215 Millstream Road
Lancaster, PA 17602
717-393-9745
_Mennonite Family History_, published quarterly by
Mennonite Family History
RR 1, Box 20
Morgantown, PA 19543-9701
This second group also has the Masthof Catalog which has lots of
books on Amish, Mennonites, etc as well as many family histories.
You can find the above magazines in large genealogy libraries.
Good luck,
Howard
