You will find the information you are seeking in Harry D. Zook's book
entitled, "Zug/Zuck/Zouck/Zook, A Genealogy."
Veronica was the daughter of Johannes Zug and Anna Heffelfinger. Johannes
was a son of Ulrich, who along with Peter were the first Zug immigrants of
record when they sailed from Rotterdam on September 27, 1727 along with
other families from the Palatinate on the ship, James Goodwill. Ulrich was
thought to be from the Swiss canton of Zug, but Harry has evidence that
contradicts that.
Harry states that Anna was fifteen when her family emigrated from
Switzerland. Her mother died during the crossing.
If you are serious about the Zug line, Harry's book is worth the purchase
cost. He sells it himself. My last contact with him was at 110 Village
Lane, Winter Park, Florida 32792-3412. His phone number was 407-678-2372.
