Hi all,

in finding Michael Zug's unpublished work. Michael lived in Lebanon, Pa.
and worked for about 30 years, 1885 to 1905 or afterwards, on the Zooks
and I have received a copy of his 121 pages. Considerable information on
the Replogles - Zooks of Woodbury Twp. in Bedford Co., Pa." Where did he
find this unpublished work? And what happened to his copy of it?
The above unpublished papers of Michael Zug are mentioned by Paul V.
Hostetler in his 1982 book, The Three Zug (Zook) Brothers of 1742... .
Hostetler says, "All of Michael's papers have now been turned over to
the Lebanon Co. PA Historical Society."
Michael was a descendant of Ultich Zug who came in 1727. Evidently
most of his work was on that line, but he also gathered some information
on other lines as well.

Howard
