The Zoeller Family Reunion is held each July in Boerne Texas at the Boerne Convention and
Community Center. The 30th annual Zoeller Family Reunion will be 2pm-6pm on Saturday, July
30, 2005. For more information please contact me at j_zoeller(a)yahoo.com
We have a potluck dinner with a small charge for the barbecue (beef/turkey) and to cover
room and other costs of reunion. Cost per person $5 for ages 12-80. Under 12 and over 80
is free. In 2004 we had a silent auction, genealogy / family history area, live music
from Jody & Fay Frymire and a wonderful time was had by all.
I am one of several members that are researching and documenting the family of Phillip
Zoeller (1818-1900), born Johann Philipp Peter Zöller, and Margaretha Schneider
(1826-1906), who settled in the area of Boerne, Texas (in the Texas Hill Country) in the
mid-1800s from Germany, and their descendents and ancestors. Also the family of Adolph
Zoeller (1839-1909) and Augusta Wendler (1842-unk) who also settled in the same area.
Adolph Zoeller (born Hellwig Carl Ludwig Adolph Zöller) was the nephew of Phillip by his
brother Georg Zoeller and Adelheid Mathilde Ollweiler. Adolph was known as Captain
Zoeller due his rank in the US Civil War.
