Nigel Moore, 93, of Shawneetown, passed on this life Monday, Nov. 5,
2001, at the Saline Care Center in Harrisburg.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2001, at the Cox &
Son
Funeral Home in Shawneetown with the Rev. Cherri Wilkerson officiating.
Burial will be in Westwood Cemetery in Shawneetown. Visitation is 9 a.m.
until service time at the funeral home Thursday.
She was born in Eagle Creek Township in southern Gallatin County on
Oct. 20, 1908, to the late Charles and Laura (Robinett) Zinn. She was the
widow of the late Nathaniel "Nat" Moore.
She had been a member of the Gallatin County Home Extension and a
member of the Pisgah General Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Jo and Bob Rister, Shawneetown;
a
son, John Charles and Patricia Moore, Harrisburg; her grandchildren,
Judy
and
Don Evrard, Scott and Patti Rister, Bonnie and Roger Mahan, Tim Rister,
Sarah
and Sam Alderfer, Nathan Moore; and great-grandchildren Dana and Corey
Evrard, Jason Rister, Robi Mahan, Reiana Mahan, Tonya Rister, Toshia
Rister
and Trina Rister.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by
four sisters and one brother.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the
Gallatin
County Education Association Scholarship Fund.
