Funeral..Zink..The Friends of Mrs Louisa Zink and Family are kindly invited
to attend the Funeral of her late beloved HUSBAND and their FATHER, Otto, to
leave his residence, "Wartborg", Condor Street, Burwood THIS AFTERNOON, at
2.30 o'clock, for St Thomas Cemetery, Enfield.

According to his death certificate, Otto, born in Gotha Village, Prussia
(now East Germany) had lived 6 years in South Australia, followed by 40
years in New South Wales.

Cert. of Naturalisation:
Whereas, in accordance with the provisions of an Act passed in the
sixty-second year of the Reign of Her majesty Queen Vistoria, entitled the
"naturalisation and Denisation Act of New South Wales 1898," application to
be naturalised has been made by Otto Zink, of Emu Street, Burwood, native of
Gotha, Germany, aged 50 years who is a builder and arrived in the Colony of
New South Wales by the Ship, "Wakitipu" in the year 1879 and who has resided
in the said Colony for 21 years, and intends to continue to reside therein:
AND WHEREAS the said Otto Zink has duly taken the Oath of Allegiance
proscribed by the said Act: Now, therefore, I, the Governor of New South
Wales, do, with the advice of the Executive Council thereof, hereby grant
unto the said Otto Zink, all the rights and capacities within the said
Colony of New South Wales of a natural born British subject.
GIVEN under my Hand and Seal, at Government House, Sydney, in New South
Wales aforesaid, this Ninth day of October One thousand nine hundred.

Handwritten Last Will and Testament, 81860 Zink, Otto, late of Burwood,
Builder.
This is the Last Will and Testament of me Otto Zink of Burwood near Sydney
in the State of New South Wales, Builder. I give devise and bequeath unto
my wife for her own use and benefit absolutely All my real and personal
estate whatsoever and wheresoever situated and I appoint my said wife sole
Executrix of this my Will and Guardian of my infant children In Witness
whereof I the said Otto Zink the Testator have to this my last Will and
Testament hereunto set my hand this eighth day of September one thousand
nine hundred and two. Otto Zink.
Signed published and acknowledged by the said Testator as and for his last
Will and Testament in the presence of us present at the same time who have
at his request in his sight and presence and in the presence of each other
hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses. R George Priddle, solicitor,
Sydney, J E Gosling, Solicitor-Sydney. Testator died at Burwood 1st August
1917....Estate sworn at £138-15-4 net On the 4th October 1914 Probate of
the Will of the said deceased was granted to Louisa Zink of Condor Street,
Burwood, Widow The Executrix named in the said Will (P.A)
St Thomas' is in Belfield (next suburb to Burwood). The address is
Coronation Parade, Belfield.
The headstone (on 23 Nov 1998) is in poor condition. The inscriptions are
as follows:
In Loving Memory, My Dear Husband and our Father, HENRY OTTO ZINK, Died Aug.
1 1917 Aged 68 years
