Would it be possible for you to identify who these Zinks and Zincks were? Others may be
interested in that particular family, too.
(My own Zinck, for instance, is Gottlieb in the middle of the 18th century. I don't
know exactly when he came over, or -- for sure -- where he came from.)
Dear Neals,
If I recall correctly, there were 2 Gottliebs, I believe, who came over one, in 1751 the
other 1752. The one Gottlieb was from Rodt, near Lossburg, in Wurttemburg, and came over
with his father, Georg, mother, and brothers and sisters.
My ZINCK/ZINKs were from Sasbachwalden, Baden, which is on the other side of the Black
Forest, and a tad bit to the North from where Rodt is located. My particular ZINCK/ZINKs
came over in 1855.
There are a number of others on this list who have the Gottlieb connections...just ask
away to the list if you have any questions. I am sure someone out here in ZINK List Land
would be willing to help you.

Sincerely,
Elmer Zink
