HIS SKULL FRACTURED
Blackwell: A fatal accident happened to Theodore Zink, while unloading rock on North Main
Street. A heavy rock was thrown off the wagon and fell on one end of an iron bar, causing
the other end to fly up and strike him on the forehead, inflicting a wound from which the
blood gushed in a stream, and knocking him down. His skull was fractured.
