Hi Beth & List,
Your e-mail contacts with BR (Brazil) is forwarded to the list
where it will be part of the list Archives. I (we) can review it
there without need to create & manage additional files on my PC.
Plus new & potential subscribers may review histotical list activity.
Reviews of archives becomes highly bebeficial as the content
thereof increases.
I will post tid-bits of ZINCKGRAF info as found. It is difficult
to predict what may trigger productive ideas in the minds of Gene-
seakers.

Hi -
I am trying to find out where we might get a copy of his death
certificate.
This gentleman in Brazil has been extremely helpful and sure has helped
to
fill in a lot of questions we had about George Elias.
Will keep you all informed

Beth,
I did find in another source his death information:
GEORG ELIAS ZINCKGRAFF
# 3
- Passed away GEORG ELIAS ZINCKGRAFF, from Biedesheim, near Gronstadt,
from
the Rhein District of Bayern, age 60 and a few months, lutheran,
Doctor
in
Medicine and Surgery in P. Alegre, legitimate son of Jacob
Zinckgraff
and
Helena, born Neomer. Passed away on 17 april 1835, 4 am, from an
inflamation on the muscular fibers and was buried on 19 of April on the
Sao
Leopoldo Cemetery.
This is the portuguese from my source ( but the original source is in
german).
GEORG ELIAS ZINCKGRAFF
3
Jacob Zinckgraff e Helena, nascida Neomer. Faleceu a 17 de abril, às
4
horas da manhã, de inflamação nas fibras musculares e foi sepultado em
19
de
abril no Cemitério de S. Leopoldo.
So I assume he left his family in Germany by the time he came to
Brazil,
or
was him widowed?
Best regards,
Gustavo Trapp
