I was lucky to find almost everything I needed about the Greibe's on
Ancestry.com.
My father's name was Henry, but the others do not sound familiar.
I was not aware of the Zimmermann list until just recently. I know that all
of my ancestors came from Switzerland, and I have been lucky enough to go
there and see the places.
I am unhappy about the descendants who have changed the name by omitting the
last "n". That may seem like something very unimportant to some people, but
to me it is quite important. I am pretty old and this desire to keep it
right may die with me, but I surely tried while I was here.

Gertrude, Names don't sound familiar. I had John Rudolf
Zimmermann
(grandpa)
and Henry Zimmermann (uncle) and Robert Otto Zimmermann, WWII Marine, IWO
JIMA
(uncle). You have any of these? Johnny Zimmermann Walker,
Conroe, Texas
