info is that they were born in Germany. They had two children that i know of.
Valentine and Mary Barbra. Have nothing on Valentine. Mary Barbra was born
in Baden, Germany on 12 Aug. 1849 and came to this country when she was 9
years old. On 3 Oct. 1871 she married William Kellenberger in Adams Co., Pa.
She died on 21 Mar. 1917 and is buried in Hanover, Pa. Any info would be
greatly appreciated

Thank You for contacting me, but I'm sorry that I can't help you in your
quest for information about your ancestors.
On Dec. 19, 1886, my grandparents, Samuel Skivington and Rebecca (Kennedy)
Skivington gave birth to their third child, a girl. They named her Helen
Zimmerman Skivington. Zimmerman seems like an unusual middle name to bestow
on a girl child, and since there are no relatives older than myself to ask,
I am trying to find out what the connection might be. It might have been to
honor the doctor who delivered her, or a special family friend???
This took place in Shenandoah or Gilberton, PA .
That's my story, and again, I'm sorry I can't be of any assistance to you.
Best regards, and good hunting,
Bill Skivington
