Kathy, looks like a differnte line. My ancestors were originally from
Shaffenhausen, Swits, just across the border from Germany. Thanks for the
reply though. Good luck!!

Hi Rob
This is what I have so far. Most my Zimmermann's were in Hamilton County
in
the West side of town. None in Lebanon area that I know of.
My Grandparents were: Charles Zimmermann (bd 4-5-1885) and Anna Binder
Zimmermann. They had 11 children , my Dad being one of them. ( I just
lost
my Dad Robert William Zimmermann in May of this year and this is why I
got
into genealogy.)
My Great Grandparents were: Ferdinand (went by Fred in US) Zimmermann (bd
1856, died 1923) and Rose Metzgar Zimmermann (bd 1863, died 12-19-1920).
Just found out from census that they came over in 1880 from Baden Germany
and
were naturalized in 1885. Their children that I know of are :
Charles (my
Grandpa), Herman, Harry, Jack (Joseph), Lena, Mae and another brother that
died as a child.
I also know the names of my Great Great Grandparents was : Joseph and
Geneva
Zimmermann. Don't know if they came over from Baden too or
ramained in
Baden.
Any of this match up with any of your info?
Let me know.
