Dear Linda,
Unfortunately I have no information about your ancestor Anna Maria Zimmerman
who married Johannes Wagner. My Zimmermans left Lancaster County, Pa. in
the middle 1750's moving to North Carolina. There they changed their name
to Carpenter and lived the rest of their lives. I do not believe that your
line ties into mine at least from the family which removed to NC. I do
suspect that some relatives may have remained in Pennsylvania but have not
proof or documentation of their children.
I am sorry that I cannot be of assistance.
Good luck on your research.
Robert Carpenter

m. (#2) Barbara ??? (possibly ZIMMERMAN, sister to Maria)
No children
As you can see, Barbara may have been a sister to Maria. Also, records of
baptisms of the children show Andreas/Andrew Zimmerman as a sponsor.
Possibly, he was a brother to Maria.
Do you have any of these names in your research? I would also be very
interested in your book if this is part of my family.
Thank you for any leads you can give.
