I have information regarding census and marriage, death and obituaries for Rev. John J.
Zimmerman of Germany married Merrimann and their children. They settled in the last white
colony of Plymouth County Iowa near Merrill Melbourne
trying to establish a Christian Church in 1868. Please let me know if you want the
information. At one time there were Zimmerman's in Wisconsin of the Noah Zimmerman
family looking for this information but I have lost your e mail. I hope you can find this
message and get the information and that the family can some day have a reunion. What
are the rules of posting something on the Zimmerman site? Names and people involved are

My ggGrandmother was Maria Margaretha Zimmermann. June 8, 1840 she married my
ggGrandfather Johan Hoffman in St. Louis County, MO. I'm not sure what the connection
is but in the 1850 census for Osage County, Mo. they have listed a Peter Kerber living
with them, I can't remember for sure but I believe it listed his age some where around
16. I know nothing about my Zimmerman line and would like to find out.
Thanks Patty
