Add one more Zimmerman to this list of those Zimmermans buried in the
Cosperville Cemetery in Cosperville, Noble County, IN - my great grandmother
was Susan (Susanna) ZIMMERMAN ARMSTRONG. She was married to John Yarger
Armstrong. Her parents were Levi ZIMMERMAN and Elizabeth WILGUS ZIMMERMAN.
Susan and John are both buried in this cemetery.

I also have a John Zimmerman as an ancestor. He was
born May 13, 1818 in Wattenweil, Switzerland. His
parents were Daniel and Ann (?) Zimmerman. On March
22, 1841 he married Susanna Catherine Schranz who was
also born in Switzerland. In 1833 he moved to
Tuscarawas County, OH and in 1868 he moved to Wawaka,
Noble County, IN. He died on Dec. 28, 1895 and is
buried in Cosperville, IN.
The following children were born to the couple:
Joseph A. (Jan. 12, 1842)
William (Jan. 13, 1843)
Elizabeth (Mar. 24, 1845)
Jacob Logan (Aug. 26, 1847)
Daniel T. (Sept. 12, 1849)
Delilah (March 9, 1852)
Ellen (July 27, 1854)
Mary Ann (Jan. 1, 1857)
Emanuel (June 27, 1860)
Sarah Jane (Nov. 21, 1861)
All except Ellen and Emanuel are confirmed as buried
in Cosperville, IN.
