My first McKimens was Elexander McKimens in PA, and died before 1804. His son, William
was born in Butler county, PA , 1 Jan 1794. Its possible that your line could be
connected way further back, but at this time I don't have anything further back than
1794.
Good Luck, Brenda

I am new to this research. I am seeking any info I can find on my husband's family
McKimmons. My husband Thomas is in his 70's and all of his older relatives are
deceased so the information track is rather closed to us. His grandfather Robert B.
McKimmons immigrated to the USA from England/Scotland? in the 1900s or before. He married
Shelly Greene and they settled in Fulton county Kentucky. They had 3 sons, Roy, Thomas and
William. Roy moved to Michigan, Thomas (aka as Cecil)was briefly a pro-baseball player
then he and William (aka known as Cletus) farmed together near Hickman Kentucky (Sassafra
Ridge) until 1950 We have found many spellings of the name but only his family seems to
use the McKiMMons. My email is m_lee_mck3(a)qwest.net. Thank you.
