[ZIMMERMAN-L] New lead on Peter SEITZ/SIDES and Barbara ZIMMERMAN/CARPENTER? (long)
by Martha Hardcastle Guthrie
I hadn't plugged in my gggg grandfather, "the other" Peter SEITZ b. about
1752 (not the son of Johannes Heinrich Seitz and Dorothea Elizabeth
Feldsinger who was born 1755) into Rootsweb's World Connect lately and was
pleasantly surprised when there were some new GEDCOMs with the name. Well,
sort of pleasantly . . . actually I'm more confused than ever. ; )
There are several with this same information but I would like to hear what
you think of it.

My question is could "the other" Peter Seitz/Sides be the brother of this
Jacob Sights? It would make sense that their father would be Peter - too
weird that both Peters married Barbaras, though.
Another thing - I see "the main" Peter Seitz b. 1755 and son of Johannes
Heinrich Seitz and Dorothea Elizabeth Feldsinger listed as married to
Elizabeth Carpenter. The Zimmermans in my family changed their name to
Carpenter, which is a literal translation. Is it possible that the two
Peter Seitzes both married Zimmerman/Carpenter sisters?
I realize this may be very confusing but this family already is!
