While on the subject of "mail-list etiquette," may I respectfully suggest
that in responding to a previous email that only a brief, relevant portion of
the previous email be copied into the response and only if it is required for
understanding the response. It is rarely appropriate to include all of the
previous email; we've all had a chance to read it already. Long quotes tend
to bury in the clutter both the response and what is being responded to.

My George Z was b 1860 in Luzerne Co. PA. Father was listed as Solomon on
death certificate. George is buried in Beulah Cemetery in the Clearfield, PA
area. I visited the grave.

Barbara,
Sorry - I missed your name on the earlier e-mail!
I have put your e-mail in my database file (with FULL CREDIT to you) and
will begin doing the 'legwork' part of my ZIMMERMAN research sometime in the
next few weeks. If I find mention of your Barbary ZIMMERMAN I will be sure
to let you know. And thanks again for info and tips!

Each one is important, for you never know, when there may be a lost
link that can connect to your own.
I have seen very little on the Zimmermans from Va. North Carolina, &
South Carolina.
However I still take time to scan them all. For the most part I find it
interresting.
I agree that once a connection is made, that they contack the person
direct, however new information found should be posted.
Regards, Barbara

Hi folks. Just trying to make a point. Bear with me. We are going to
lose more people if we don't find a better way to bulk mail. Thanks.
Sorry....I am not trying to be smart. I enjoy this list and want to make it
a better place.

Hi.
Could people sending out general inquiries please send them out to the list
and not to EVERYONE on the ZImmerman-D-Request. I like to get mail in
digest so that I have one mailing for the ZImmerman surname in my mail box.
It seems like folks are sending their inquiries to INDIVIDUALS and the
mailing list. This really clogs up my email. Please send your inquires to
the author of the mailing list unless you are have a dialogue with a
PARTICULAR subscriber. Is anyone else having this trouble? I'm send this
message to the "AUTHOR" and to "ALL" to see if anyone else is having the
same MULTIPLE emails. Thanks for you kind consideration. I enjoy this
group but would like inquires sent to me in ONE email. Have a nice day.
