I've "rescued" an old photograph of Wayne BIXLER which was taken at the
John
D. Strunk Studio in Reading, Pennsylvania. The photograph appears to have
been taken in the 1880's with Wayne appearing to be about 8 years old at the
time the photograph was taken. Based on limited research I was able to
gather the following information:
Wayne BIXLER was b. 1880 in Brecknock Township, PA to parents Christian B.
BIXLER (b. 27 Sept 1847) and Ellen ZIEMER (b. 1 Nov 1859). Wayne was one of
their 7 children which included, Evan; Wayne; Josephine; Howard; Jennie;
Laura; and Oscar BIXLER. Wayne married Catherine MOUNTZ (b. 1880 in
Brecknock Township, PA) on 20 Jan 1900 in Reading, PA and together they had
three children including, Esther May; Dora Ellen; and Gladys A. BIXLER all
born between 1900 and 1910 in Reading, PA.
Census records provide the following information:

member of this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me.
Thanks,
