Antonina Zielinska, from Ruda Wieczynska, Poland, was married to Marcin Kasprzak in the
village of Szymanowice Jan 4, 1882. Neither left Poland. However, Antonina's brother
Tomasz Zielinski, emigrated to America and settled in Milwaukee Wisconsin very early
1900's as did my grandfather, Franciszek Kasprzak, son of Antonina and Marcin.
On a recent trip to Poland and to the village of Szymanowice, we visited the cemetery
there, The following Zielinski/Zielinska's gravestones were found:
Wincenty Zielinski Born Mar 16, 1910, Died: Apr 14, 1982 and his spouse: Helena Zielinska
Born Aug 3, 1923, Died: Jul 15, 1995
Aleksander Zielinski Born May 15, 1946, Died Nov 11, 1992 and his spouse: Stanistawa
Zielinska Born: Oct 18, 1932, Died Jan 17, 1949
Jan Zielinski Born Jun 21, 1929, Died Oct 7, 1950
While at Auschwitz we obtained a list of Zielinski/Zielinska's who were either
executed or died while imprisoned during 1941/1942 and the pictures of two young Zielinski
men:
Jan Zielinski Born Jan 26, 1922, arrested Apr 5, 1941, died Apr 20, 1942 and
Mieczyslaw Zielinski Born February 2, 1922, arrested Dec 4, 1940 and died Nov 11, 1941.
Jan was an organista.
Information on the Zielinski/Zielinska's, Kasprzak's, Mazurek's or
Pietrzak's from the area around the village of Szymanowice would be most welcome.
