I owe the you and the list an apology. I inadvertently left out "what I know"
about this family.
I recently came into possession of a :"handdrawn" family tree, supposedly
completed in the 70's by an Urban Mattias Ziegler from Wisconsin somewhere.
There is no geographical information on this tree. He was supposedly written
up in the ? newspaper about this 13 year project and the depth of the
information he had. It is my family, as my own father is even listed. I am
told by my grandmother, Elsie Cecelia (Schille) Ziegler, now 91 years old,
that she believes Urban is deceased. What I do "know" is that this family
came from Halsheim, Bavaria about 1850 and settled in Wisconsin. From there,
my "twig" moved to Montana and utlimately to Washington state.
I guess what I would really like is to locate Urban Mattias Ziegler's family
and find out what happened to all his research. Anyway, that is basically all
the information I have. If anything sounds vaguely familiar, I would surely
appreciate a tip from someone. Thanks and happy hunting.
