Gene, Jack and Peggy,
Should I send this to the LIST or just work on it myself? I am
going to write Frau Siebert and check the Mormon files. If you
want to phone Frau Siebert; have at it. But, what about the LIST?
Would that help or hurt?
Let me hear from you. Best regards, Bob H. ___

Robert Hemphill:
Hallo per.naucler,
I am seeking information on our Frit Ziegler born 1690/1710 in
Goeppingen or Soehsaetten and his son Michael born c1738 we
believe in Sohnstetten, Heidemheim District, State of Wurttemberg.
They arrived in Charleston, SC, America in February 1753. There
was
a large family. We think it possible some may have gone to
Pennsylvania or maybe gone back and forth from Pa to SC. Can you
help me and what is the best way to pursue this.
Best regards,
Bob Hemphill, 2779 Hillcrest Street, NE, Orangeburg, SC 29118, USA
Hello Bob,
what I can tell you is the address to the place where they
keep the Goeppingen church records. I know there are plenty of
Zieglers in the records around the turn of the century 16/1700.
The address:
Evang. Gesamtkirchenpflege
Pfarrstr. 45
73033 Goppingen
The person to talk to:
Frau Siebert, Kirchenregisteramt. Her phone number in Germany is
07161/96367-35. How to dial Germany and what zeros to skip in the
phone number should be in your local phone book.
Good luck, Per
