Paul,
My grandfather (John Samuel ZIEGLER) was born in Nova Scotia, as was his
father (John Edward ZIEGLER). I do find this "Wisconsin" Ziegler interesting
as family history says that the family lived in Wisconsin briefly before
moving to the Pacific Northwest.
From my Geocities web page: <A

Mom made trips to Nova Scotia but failed to find detailed information about
the Ziegler family and when, why and how they arrived in Nova Scotia. Her
cousins still living there had no "Ziegler" data and the local historical
societies and museums couldn't find anything either.
What do you think? Could we be related???
