Looking for info on Civil War veterans named Ziegler or Zeigler who served
with the 87th Pennsylvania Infantry, a regiment mustered in York in
September 1861. I am not a Ziegler
descendant but an historian gathering research for a history of the 87th
Pennsylvania with an eye toward the personal histories of is participants.

lived in the Dobbins House
where the couple assisted escaped slaves
