Hi Pat.
Please pardon the last message without a message. Trying again.
We are looking for the old country home land of Fritz or Frederick
Zeigler or Ziegler who cross the waters in 1753 from Rotterdam to
Charleston, SC. We think he came from Heidenhiem, District,
Wurttemberg, but can find no trace of him there. He brought a Tudor
with him who was born in Liepzieg so Fritz may have come from that part
of Germany. It appears yours came across later?

Subject: [ZIEGLER] ZIEGLERS in Germany
I was wondering if anyone is researching any ZIEGLER lines in
Germany.
I am
descended from Johannne Fridericke ZIEGLER Roessler who lived (most
likely)
in Saxony, Germany in the late 1700's.
Johanne ZIEGLER married Joseph Roessler. They were the parents of
Anna
Magdalene Roessler (who later married Karl August Simmank). Anna
Roessler
was born 21 October 1812 at Eiserode in Sachsen (Saxony), Germany.
This Anna Roessler Simmank and her husband Karl emigrated from
Germany
directly to TEXAS in the early 1850's.
If Johanne Fridericke ZIEGLER Roessler of Saxony, Germany sounds
familiar to
you please get in touch. Thanks!
Patricia
