Cousins,
We all generally just "reply" to whatever message is on the screen,
since that is how we normally communicate with each other on this
List.
However, it's important to realize that SOME of the messages are
"gatewayed" to us from the corresponding surname Message Board. We
receive the benefit of seeing messages posted about this surname,
without needing to visit the web page. Some -- perhaps many -- of
those who post messages there are NOT subscribers to this List.
What we need to remember, then, is that if we want to be certain our
message reaches the original poster, we must click on the link
provided in the message that comes to the List.
That will take us to the Message Board where the original message resides.
At that point, we will be able to "reply" to the message, so that it
"threads" itself into that series, and also it will be gatewayed to
the List, thus coming back to us here.
