Ziegler Michael S., 55
Kenton
Services for Michael S. Ziegler will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Price Funeral Home, Kenton, by
the Rev. Tom Hite. Burial will be at Grove Cemetery, Kenton, at a later date.
Friends may call at an “informal” visitation from 11 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
He died early Monday morning, May 29, 2006, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 26, 1951, in Kenton, to George and Marjorie (Ford) Ziegler.
Surviving is a daughter, Jessica (Josh) Corwin of London; two stepchildren, Carrie and Ben
Ross of Columbus; three brothers, Doug (Dorothy) Ziegler of Kenton, Burke (Peggy) Ziegler
of Ada and George (Connie) Ziegler of Kenton; three sisters, Janice (Tom) Kuck and Judy
(Gary) Woodard, both of Kenton, and Joanne Ziegler of Redding, Calif.; a grandson, Josh
Corwin of London and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter, Grace Corwin.
He was a farmer and a welder.
He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
He was a friend to all he met, loved his family, his dog Chance, wildlife photography, elk
and exploring the remote areas of Alaska and the Yukon.
Memorials may be made to Mary Lou Johnson-Hardin County District Library for books on
Alaska or Military History.
