Dear list,
I have rescued an old cabinet-card style photo of a man named Louis Ziegler. His name is
handwritten on the back of the card. This photo was taken by "Wilson" which is
I would assume is the photographer. This photographer was located at 389 State St. in
Chicago. This information is printed on the front of the card, below the photo.
Louis Ziegler appears to be a young man, possibly in his 20's in this image. He is
wearing a white shirt with a high collar (as in 1890's style), and a dark vest and
jacket. The image is pristine, in sepia tones, and has no damage.
I try to rescue old photos that are identified, and locate their descendants, or a safe
place for them. If Louis Ziegler is "yours", or you may have an interest in
this photo, please contact me at:
jmje36(a)embarqmail.com , as I am not usually on this list.
Regards,
