I have a Johanna Ziegler in McHenry Co., IL. I have her birth date as 24 May 1813 and Death date as 21 Nov 1893 or 1898. She is buried at St.
Mary Cemetery in McHenry Co., IL.
Johanna's name is one side of the headstone and Michael Dumrauf's name is on the other side. His birth date is 5 Aug 1849 and death date is 2 Nov 1877.
I don't know if they died there in McHenry Co., IL, or if they was taken there after they pass away.
I need to find someone who would look up a obit.
Johanna's maiden is Hawker or Howker and she married Dumruf / Drumuff / Drumauf no first name then she married this Ziegler, which I don't his name.
Why I ask to see if this Ziegler came from Kansas. Some of Johanna's children from the first marriage Dumrauf. Moved to Osborn and Saline Co., KS.

Does ANYONE have ANY information on a woman named Haidee Belle?
She was born to Florence Vickers and Charlie Allen c.1880. Florence's father, George W. Vickers of Bonaparte, IA, gave the infant girl to neighbors, possibly living in Keosauqua. The family name was reportedly Ziegler, Siegler, Sigler, or something similar.
Haidee Belle later married Burt Winters, and had 3 children. She later married Alva Luttrell, and had Mona, Doris, and Jimmy. Haidee died in Idaho, probably between 1925 and 1935.
ANY information on Haidee Belle will be most appreciated.
I'm seeking information on the Ziegler family from Baltmannsweiler, Germany. I have a Michel Ziegler who was married to Anna Beck. Anna Beck was born about 1704 in Baltmannsweiler, Germany. She died Dec. 17, 1778 at Rennselear, NY. Michel and Anna's daughter, Anna Catherine Ziegler married Johannes Heidley about 1754 in Germany. Anna Catherine was born Jul. 10, 1732 at Baltmannsweiler, Ger. and died at Greenbush, NY on May 13, 1821.
Thanks,

I have lots of Ziegler, who moved into Minnesota, especially Mankato

I had a cousin named Cleo Ziegler b. ~1923. It's probably just coincidence,
but given names do seem to run in families. I'll look for an earlier one and
let you know. Norval Ziegler
A Cleo Ziegler inscribed his (her?) name on a cliff in Southwest Wyoming in the 1850s. I am trying to determine who this person was. The inscription site is near the Oregon Trail and Cleo may have been amoung the emmigrants passing through the area. Cleo's presence at the inscription site could be historically significancant. The inscription is on Fossil Butte National Monument. If the 1850s date can be verified, Cleo would be the first person of European descent known to have visited this important fossil locality.. If you have any information regarding this person please contact me.
My husbands mother was a ZIEGLER from North Dakota. Her father was Jacob
ZIEGLER and her mother was Wilhelmina RENNER. Jacob's father was Phillip

Ukraine. If you have any info on this ND ZIEGLER. I would appreciate it.

Hi Allen,
I'm looking for a Michael Ziegler that lived in Youngstown Ohio around
1913. He came from Hungary. He married Suasanna Kloos.
I have been looking for over a year now with no luck. I'm begining to
wonder if they came from outer space. But i'm still looking. I am
planing a trip to Ohio in August for 2 weeks maybe i can find something
then. Thank you for your help.
Becky
I am also interested in Cincinnati, Ohio ZIEGLER's: My husband's
great-great grand mother, Mary Margaret ZIEGLER was born in Cincinnati, Ohio
2/26/1844. Her parents were Boniface and Madeline ZIEGLER and their
birthplace <as listed in the 1880 census> is Germany. The ZIEGLERs
emigrated to Montana in 1863. Mary Margaret had at least one other brother
that I know of: Charles Karl ZIEGLER, born 5/21/1833 in Kentucky, per his
death certificate. I believe this ZIEGLER family was Catholic.
I have been able to find little else on this family.
