FRAZEYSBURG: Frank J. Zeman, 80, of Frazeysburg, Ohio, formerly of Toboso and Hanover,
Ohio, died Sunday morning, February 6, 2011 at his home.
Born November 11, 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio (Cuyahoga County) he was the son of the late
Carl and Bertha (Olszewski) Zeman.
Mr. Zeman was a veteran who served in the U. S. Navy shortly after the end of World War
II, and who also served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War.
He retired from the Newark Air Force Base, Newark, Ohio and was a member of Irville Lodge
#184, F. & A. M.
Surviving are two sons and daughters in-law, Frank T. and Connie Zeman of Nashport, Ohio
and Steve D. and Molly Zeman of Toboso, Ohio; five grandchildren, Trevor (Amber) Zeman,
Erin (Jody) Street, Elyse (Ryan) Trout, Richie Zeman and Zack Zeman; 11 great
grandchildren; four sisters, June Stefanov of Sagamore Hills, Ohio, Agnes Karaba of
Streetsboro, Ohio, Mary Ann (John) Papesh and Ceil Orlowski both of Bedford, Ohio; one
brother, Carl (Laura) Zeman of Surprise, Arizona; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Martha M.
(Conley) Zeman whom he married April 7, 1951 and who died December 23, 2006.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at the
Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at the funeral home with
the Rev. James Story officiating.
Burial will be in Hanover Cemetery with the Licking County, Ohio Veterans Alliance
conducting military honors.
