Hello Everyone !
I know this subject real well.. And I also know there are many Zeller /
Zellers researchers who may receive this. But before I comment on this
subject I would like to take this time and THANK everyone who are members at
the ZFW... In addition without getting anyone upset, please read my
comments very closely, and with a open mind... First I know there is a
DeValois family who were royalty in France, because I have record of them in
a World History book that I own. I also know that there probably was a Lady
DeValois... However !!!! There has never been any documentation of Lady
Clothilde DeValois (Sellaire) / (Zeller) even existing. Mr. John Vallentine
Author of the ZELLER Family Revisions, and Henry Z. Jones have stated many
times over, there is NO Birth record, there is NO Baptism record, there is
NO marriage record, there is NO Ships records, etc...that list this Lady
Clothilde DeValois (Sellaire) / (Zeller). I have been told that the ZELLER
family that made up the family crest, have also made up the Clothilde
story... Research in Germany indicated that the ZELLER family resided in
Etzbach Village near Wissen, in the District of Hachenburg... Two ZELLER'S
brothers and possibly a sister who married Johannes SCHAFFER, joined the
Palatine contingent, going first to Holland, then to England, and finally to
New York in the migration of 1709/1710...It also states in English that
Jacques left there for the US, but US records do not record him as
arriving... To the best of my knowledge this has been researched time and
time again, by many !!! I am sorry if this has caused any hard feelings in
anyway, it certainly was not intended that way... Mr. Vallentine has put
out the challenge to the ZELLER family to find the information they are
looking for, not the stories that have been implemented into the family by
relatives. Folks this COULD be my line also, so I would like to find out
the truth too... If you would like to read what has been compiled at the
ZFW, please join today ! The Vallentine Revisions are there, Mr. Henry Z.
Jones material... And an exclusive letter to the Lebanon Hostorical
Society, from Mr. Vallentine explaining his findings...
Best Regards
