Hi Roberta,
Hello!
Thank you so much for your kind words. It's as if I found a long-lost member of my
family. My father emigrated to Morocco, North Africa during the the WWI before I was born
and that's where I was born. He was living with a very beautiful woman and I was
adopted by her and my father (long story as I had a very different biological mother and
my adoptive mother couldn't have children, so she agreed to adopt me!!). Very long
story.
When I was young, my dad said that he had nobody left in his family and I should not be
looking for his family. When he died almost 42 years it was the saddest time of my entire
life as I was very close to him.
Now, with this beautiful internet access, I would love to find anybody with the same name
just to belong.
Please keep in touch.
By the way, I now live in London, UK, and have only one grown up son and a 22 month-old
granddaughter, who is the love of my life.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
with very best wishes

Subject: [ZELLER] My ZELLERS

Hi List,
My grandmother was Eugenie Zeller, born in Tubingen, Germany in December 1883. Her mother
was Barbara Zeller, born in February 1864 in Voehringen Germany.
My grandmother arrived in the US October 4, 1894. She had been living in Germany with her
aunt - the Klotz family. She left Germany for the US via Antwerp. She was met by her
mother Barbara who had arrived in the US in the late 1880's.
I hope that these names ring a bell with some other Zellers. There is a big missing link
here - who was Eugenie's father. It appears that he was not a Zeller. (Don't worry
- it's the 21st century and all the grandkids know about this.)
I'd love to re-start my search on this line and look forward to suggestions.
Best regards,
Roberta
