Jim, that is wonderful news! I still suspect a connection with my Zeitlers to yours
as they are so close. Please let me know what you find out about the other Zeitlers.
I am back to 1600 now and the next area to search is Kallmunz - yet they basically
remained within 20 miles or so whenever and wherever they moved.
It's like striking treasure, isn't it?

Subject: Rottendorf Zeitlers, a cousin found!!
I sent an email to the Gasthaus Zeitler in Rottendorf, Bavaria,
Germany, and
received a reply from Dr. Reinhard Zeitler who says we are in fact 3rd
cousins! He says his brother forwarded my message to him.
He also says
"Your message lead to some discussion in our
family especially between those, who are older.
Furthermore some relatives of mine claim, that
there was a brother to Margaret who emigrated to
amerika, too. Do have some information of this?
There is a cousin of mine of whom it is said that
she has collected some information of old Zeitlers
of our family.
I will have contact with her in some days.
Maybe she has some new information for us."
I will keep in touch with him, and forward important developments to this
email list.
