Thanks for your efforts but I am fairly certain my roots begin in Oxford
Junction, Ia. in the mid-1860's. I am fairly certain my great
grandfather,
Michael, was born there but don't know his father, who probably
emigrated
from Bohemia. Other Zaruba researchers seem to have their roots in other
parts of Iowa, Pennsylvania, Nebraska or Texas with their emigration
beginning in Moravia. I appreciate your help though and you might want to
check out a site sent to me. It is a scanned version of a book which I
have
seen on microfilm. It is primarily a history of a particular Zaruba
family
