Hi Rooters of Zahns
I didn't know any Zahns moved to Wi. Zahn is my maiden name, and my line
came from around Berlin(Wisner)Maternal, and from southern Germany (Zahn)
Paternal. They came to America in the middle 19th century and settled in
Jefferson Co., Town of Wilna, Village of Naumburg and were prosperous
farmers and land owners.
At the present time I am searching my mother's mother's Nash line.

Hello - I received your message & at the moment the only name that rings a
bell is Frank (my grandfather) but his father's name was Anton and was
probably born a little later on. I do not know any of his sibling's names,
only that he had several, however, do expect to be receiving more
information from another new-found family member sometime soon. If anything
comes up, I do save these messages and look thru them whenever I find
anything new to see if anything else rings a bell. If anything comes up
I'll certainly let you know!

I am searching for my Zahn ancestors, starting with Gustave Zahn and his
wife,
Dorthea (settled in Milwaukee, WI around 1893). Their children were
William Gustave, Frank, Amelia, Albert, Bertha, Ida, and Gus.
Their son, William Gustave Zahn, was born March 1, 1876 and died in
Mosinee, WI
Aug. 4, 1937 (wife Martha Marie Prell)
Does any of this sound familiar?
