Hi Everyone --
I attended ceremonies at the Zahn Cemetery over the weekend presented by the Spring Creek
Powder Mill Chapter 2511 of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, Tomball, TX. Mr.
Teddy Alexander Klein, U.S. Navy Retired was presented a WWII Cross of Military Service
and a Confederate Grave Marker was dedicated to the memory of Private Jacob Zahn, Company
K, 16th Texas Infantry, Confederate States Army. It was a glorious ceremony culminated by
a three round cannon salute and Taps sounded by a lone trumpet. Check out the pictures at
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~prsmith/photo_zahn_cemetery.htm.
While at the ceremonies, I was fortunate enough to meet Jane Ledbetter and her husband who
showed me where the Neumeyer Cemetery is located so you'll find directions and photos
at

Just a quick reminder; I'm still looking for the grave of Gilbert McArthur (Buried
just off the SP railroad tracks along Hempstead Highway (290), 3 miles west of the
Fairbanks community near Jersey Village.) Somebody HELP!! please.
