Hi!
My name is Connie Zahn Susag, My grandfather, Frederick William Zahn, came from Hamberg,
Germany with his parents, Johann and Johanna F.W. Zahn. They settled in Bellingham, MN
and my grandfather moved to North Dakota and raised his family here. From the information
I am able to find, I believe they came to the United States in 1860-1880's. If you
have any information that may indicate we are related, please let me know. I have fallen
behind in all my geneology!
Sincerely,
Connie Susag

Heather, oh so close, maybe some day I can connect with your Zahns! My
Zahns came from Germany, probably before 1840 and changed the name to Cahn
(pronounced Sahn). I know of a John Zahn who married Barbara Drick and
their children became Cahns, though I can't prove this is my line yet. But
I did take some notes last time I was in Williamsport on some of the Zahns
on your list, so let me know if you would like more info, and also if there
are any Cahns in your group.
