Hi John and others
I am listening in.
I was directed to this site a very long time ago, and I still listen in. But when our
extended family did their DNA we were part of family W011, going back to a Samuel Wells in
Stafford Co. VA. So I feel that this info really doesn't pertain to my family unless
somewhere down the line they cojoin some of these families.
But I am always interested in seeing the unraveling of all the unknown and piecing
everything correctly back together again.
I find it interesting how people believe what is initially put forth by someone else or
even themselves, and never want to listen to something else that comes along.
I have dealt with three cases of this, one where there were 2 couples with the same names,
living in neighboring states. We worked with this other person and eventually worked it
all out. In 2 other cases we had 2 cousins that were born in the same months and years,
and both cousins had the exact names. In one case the 2 male cousins actually married
sisters. In this case a court document proved all of this and sorted it out but it is
going to take a long time if ever to get people to accept this. In the other case, it will
probably not get totally corrected, Myself and one other know there is proof but as far as
I know it never got mainstreamed.
I played a big part in all of these cases, and I know how difficult it is to get others to
even pay attention. So Keep the argument going, until it is proving one way or another.
