Not at this time, but "maybe".
We have another participant who has not yet been tested whose family
came out of Bryan County, GA. There is an ancestor named Zachariah
Wells b: Cir 1799 (about the same age as your Robert Wells who
claimed to be born in GA) who was apparently among the founding
families of Bryan County. This branch eventually ended up in
Florida. This hints at the possibility of a connection to W020
(Zachariah Wells b: Cir 1739) of Lee/Wise County, VA. The family
also went through North Carolina where Zachariah may or may not have
been born. It is possible the GA Zachariah was connected to the VA
Zachariah. The age difference would at best make him a grandson or
at worst a descendent down a parallel branch. Then again, there may
be absolutely no connection. We may know fairly soon. Meanwhile,
you might want to sniff around Bryan County for any hints regarding your
Note too that your DNA lacks the mutation on DYS437 (15 vs 16)
exhibited by all the descendents of W028 (Robert Wells) which pretty
much excludes that branch from your consideration.

Would anyone know of any Wells families descended from W006 that
