know where Thomas son of Zach & Abigail is buried?
Do you know who the Thomas Wells was listed in the Harlan Co Ky
census we posted on line along with my Jemima Wells & John Sturgill
& any clues on the Wells listed living with them in the home?
I was a searching last nite on the Caudills

found a tombstone listing for George W. Brown & Susannah Wells
Who was she daughter of?
Stephen Caudill is buried there 1763-1839 Rev War Vet marker
placed there by the Pine Mountain Chapter DAR in 1995
He is a brother of my James Caudill (d.1840 Letcher Co KY)
who married Mary Adams -
daughter Abigail Caudell date of birth- either 1767 or 1770?
married married William Pennington b,1763 NC deacon of Oven Fork
Church now Mayking Letcher Co Ky
was in 1820 a part of Harlan County KY.
had son William Nelson Pennington b Sept 1806 Lee Co
Abigail brother William C.Caudill b 1782 or Jul 1779? Wilkes Co NC
married Nancy Mary Craft = he died in Letcher Co had 13 children
dau Delila Caudill married William Nelson Pennington.

preachers and visited the same churches. Susanah Ward Wells, the wife of
William Wells who preached the gospel for many years, old Baptist, died
on March 18th 1861, according to an old diary entry.
I have the Thomas who married Mahala Taylor listed as a son of Zachariah
Wells, Jr. (son of Zach and Abigail). He later had James Wells listed in
his household, who (I believe), was his blind brother.
