I'm not asking these questions because I doubt any info that has been
presented, but because I'm relatively new to the search for Zachariah's
origins. Orin has taught me well and I ask questions about every detail
before I continue. I, too, believe that there is a link between the Loudon
County Wells family and Zachariah. We need someone who has ready access to
Loudon County records to help us here.
My other question relates to Abigail Osborne. What proof do we have to
determine her parentage? There are several Osborne families in Fincastle
County in 1771-1774.

In response to Don's list of children of Zachariah and Abigail, my
list
shows only the first ten as children. I have their birth dates as well. I
do not show John P.WELLS and Joseph WELLS as their children.
