I am going to steal a note posted by Dave Wells to the Wells-L list to
inform you folks of a new constraint on Rootsweb lists.
By the way, I would like to see the activity pick up on this list. It has
been pretty dead lately. I suggest you Zachariah Wells descendants get
together and start posting on a planned basis all the information you have
regarding the families as they descend from Zachariah. For example, start
with Zachariah and his wife (Abigail or Elizabeth) and their children with
dates for birth, death, marriage and spouse names. Include source
citations on each event so that other researchers will know where it came
from and can, if they choose, verify the material.
Then shift in turn to each of the children and do the same thing. Cycle
back to the first child of the first child and continue as far as you can
take each branch of the tree. Each post should be for a specific family unit.
We need a coordinator to head this up and who would collect the information
from the others and post when it is as complete as they can determine.
Biographical information should also be provided either with the family
unit for the parents or as a separate message.
===========rootsweb notice=====
For everybody's information, Rootsweb is now blocking messages sent in HTML
or including ANY attachments. They will be returned to you with a note
that they were rejected.
