It has been a long dry spell: over 4 months since you last saw Wells files
added to the Wells Family Research Association Website. I will not go into
details on the reasons behind the inactivity.
I am now "back in the saddle" and am going to do my best to add a page a
day to the site. I will send an update list once a week identifying the
pages that have been added to anyone who has subscribed to the
WellsAssociation List (see the "What's New page to see how to subscribe).
The first two pages added (and to let you know I am back) are:
1880 Census for Montgomery County, Iowa
Early Immigrants to the American Colonies
==============================================
For those of you who may be new on one of the Wells lists or have not made
direct contact with me in the past may I recommend that you identify
yourself by sending me your mailing address for the Wells Family Research
Association - Wells Researcher Database (not for public consumption and no
mailing lists are shared). Please also send me a quick summary of your
Wells ancestry so we can match you against our database for information we
may have and/or match you with other researchers (we have 5,000+ Wells
researchers on file).
If you can provide a GEDCOM file as well or have updated your database and
think you should send me an updated GEDCOM, please email this or send a
diskette by snail mail. When doing so, please indicate if you would be
willing to let us include this on our pending Wells CD-ROM (no schedule,
but I will let everyone know when it becomes available and the cost).
