Claude, please make sure you post all messages relating to Zachariah Wells
to the ZachariahWells-L(a)rootsweb.com list unless you really mean for it to
be personal. If you send me something that is meant to be personal, please
make it "PERSONAL" in the first line of the message. Otherwise I will
assume you forgot to address the list and I will forward it as I have done
here. Thanks.
I will respond later as I am busy right now.

I was just looking at teh save notes that I have on file from you
regarding the beloved Zachariah Wells family group and I came across an
old message I meant to respond to before. You mentioned a photo of a
family group Chldren of James Franklin Wells of Esserville.
I meant to respond at the time to this photo and toyour request
regarding this particular branch of the family. I am descendant from
James Franklin Wells and Jennettie, by way of their son Winfield Scott
Wells, my grandfather was Emerson Galington Wells who m. Sarah Catherine
Robinett. My family history report for teh Wells' is on my user page of
Family Tree Maker web site:
http://www.familytreemaker.com/users/w/e/l/claude-e-wells it still
contains the info back past Zachariah that is controversial, I don't
want to eliminate it until 100% certain one way or the other. But the
information from Zachariah forward is based on research completed by my
cousin, Delores Roat, who along with other family members travelled to
VA on occassions for family reunions for both the Wells' and Robinett's
and got what info they could by talking to family members and reviewing
what info they had. I won't guarntee 100% accuracy to the present but I
fel it comes pretty close. There maybe some details I haven't had time
to add to the program from her research, like details for teh Holbrooks,
Woods, etc. but i have all of her documentation adn research materials.
Any way it is there for teh world to see and critcize, on of my cousins
has already sent me a note to correct the spelling of his wifes last
name, so who knew Fenstermacher would be so hard to spell when people
say it with a Pennsytucky accent.
I have also seen the photo in question as well it is in the book "The
history of Wise County, VA" by Addington. As well as a photo of Dr.
Jerry Wells sitting on horse back riding rounds. It also Talks about
Tazewell G. Wells (G is for Galington) and his role in Wise County, as
well as others of the Family both Wells' and Robinett's. The Robinett'
is a family history to trace, it is HUGE!
Any just a short note that I forget to send before regarding this
pisture.
Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
