There is too much ground work to put in place for us to be able to get the
Wells Special Study folded into the Molecular Genealogy sample collection
this weekend in San Diego. I would like to ask any of you who were giving
it serious thought to wait until we stage another collection there. I
promise you we will organize a Wells collection in San Diego so you can
participate in this study.
I am having minor problems determining exactly what they require of us to
get this started. They want pedigrees on the Wells lines before allowing
samples to be collected for the study, but so far I don't have the precise
format of the forms they want to have me use.
I will continue working on them over the next week so that we can start
having Wells researchers get involved in the collections scheduled on down
the road.
To give you a clue what we faced in San Diego, I was able to identify
members of the following famlies in the area who could have gone.
Thomas Welles/Alice Tomes b: Cir 1580 Stourton, Warwickshire, UK - Connecticut
Thomas Wells/Frances Albright b: Cir 1600 Evesham, Worcestershire, UK (2) -
Connecticut
Thomas Wells/Frances ____ b: Cir 1653 England - Maryland
Thomas Wells/Abigail Warner b: Cir 1605 England - Massachusetts
Richard Wells/Frances White(?) b: Cir 1637 England - Pennsylvania
Abigail Wells/Richard Bartlett Cir 1624 - Connecticut
William Wells / Bridget ____ b: Cir 1608 - England - Southold, Long Island, NY
Have patience, we will get this rolling yet.
