What is the source names them of "Delaware"? As an Eastern Shore
researcher, I've visited and have accessed records for the area. My
notes have Talbot Co. formed in 1661/62 from Kent County, MD. Also, as
an additional check... I found no reference in G. Schweitzer's book
"Maryland Genealogical Resesarch" that Kent or Talbot counties' land
were ever in the "colony of" Delaware.

St. Luke's Episcopal Parish (corner of today's Main St. & Walnut) in
Church Hill, MD:
Founded in 1728, when the provincial council in Annapolis granted a
petition to establish the present parish. St. Luke's, the oldest brick
church in the state with its original structure was completed, 1732, at
the cost of 140,000 pounds of tobacco. From 1692 unti 1732 services
were held in the up river chapel, located on the present site.
