This may be old news or redundant data for everyone, but did you all knwo
there was a way to access 24/7/365 the circuit court records of Wise County?
They have a pay type program to access their data for probate, land record
and marriage records going back 150 years. The url is:
http://www.courtbar.org/
Do not know how much data can be gleened from their records on line but in
doing the demo search, which is only about 10% of their data I found info on
one of my aunts marriage. (I already knew this data so I can verify it as
true.) And saw references to other marriages in the Wells family to
Kilgore's, Taylor's, Huff's, Sturgill's, etc. the oldest records I saw
dated
to 1874 for one of James Franklin Wells' and Genettie Wells' daughters to
the s/o Hiram Kilgore and Annie Kilgore. The record didnot show who Nancy
married, I only searched under Wells. This was only the demo search which,
like I previously stated only shows 10% of their records. So it may be a
shot at info with record numbers and other data to verify records yo already
have.
Just a Thought!

I think the reason this is a research project is that they are really
uncertain what the outcome will be as to what they can tell about the
ancestry from the DNA. We can only hope it will be good and it is
certainly worth the effort to find out.
