I have William Wells married to Anna Boggs and that is, so far, ALL I have.
On another branch, I have Boggs and Caudill's and Jester's all intermarried?
Do you have a Jester or two in there also?

Subject: [Zachariah Wells] Benjamin Wells, b. 1894

Greetings, Wells Family Researchers!
I am new to the Wells Family Research List, and am trying to tie into
the
collateral WELLS line, which married into my MAGGARD and BOGGS lines.
While gathering verbal information from my WELLS cousin, here are the
clues:
Benjamin WELLS, born 1894, possibly in Wayne Co., WV. Stated he crossed
the
Big Sandy into Lawrence Co., KY when he was a small boy. Ben's father was
William Wells, b. c1870-1874 who married a BOGGS. Their children:
Murtie
Noah
Ben
Hilliard
Maude
Ella
Fairaby
Ruth
Lucille
Avery
Jim
Ida
It is also possible that a CAUDILL married into this direct line, as my
cousin stated that as a boy, whenever he was bad or mean, the adults would
tell him "that's the CAUDILL side coming out in you".
I found a William B. WELLS, b. October 21, 1842 (son of Ezekiel WELLS),
grandson of William, b. 1779 in Three Forks, Lee Co., VA and Susannah WARD
who married a Fairaby CAUDILL, daughter of Isham CAUDILL and Elizabeth
CAUDILL.
Could my WELLS cousin be descended from this line?
Any information or help would be greatly appreciated. I do have good
access to all Federal Census mircofilms through our St. Louis City Library,
which has the complete collection.
Hope a Wells researcher can help me out!
